Hyakushiki-Ou 08JUL2008 Tokyo Disneyland pt.2

Tonight I'm going back to finish up summarizing the Tokyo Disneyland Hyakushiki-Ou episodes. This episode spends more time in the classroom which gives the younger boys a chance to be seen and heard.

The episode starts off with Fujigaya Taisuke and Yamashita Shoon watching a Disneyland parade and waving/blowing kisses at Mickey Mouse. That leads into the first quiz section which is all about Mickey. Then it's back to Fujigaya and Shoon with their Disneyland guide riding on a train in the park. Pretty much for the rest of the episode they weave in the on location segments with the quiz questions. Sanada is still trying to answer as many as possible though you can tell he's making wild guesses for some of his answers.

I don't think the things they look at this time around are as interesting as the last episode. But they don't spend much time there as the episode soon switches to the classroom for a guessing game.

If you wondering what Fujigaya and Shoon had around their necks in Disneyland it's clearly seen that those were popcorn buckets. In the classroom Inohara presents a table full of these buckets with varies Disney characters on them. The boys have to guess what the flavors are and if they guess correctly they get to keep the popcorn bucket of that flavor.

I have to say after hearing some of the answers I can't imagine who would have thought certain flavors would taste good on popcorn. I mean who likes the taste of sea salt? One thing I picked up was that Keito mentioned he knew about the cappuccino flavored popcorn because his dad likes it. They have a little trouble figuring out what the last flavor is until Keito gives the sample plate a smell and recognizes it to be coconut.

After that it's back to the quiz segment. By this time everyone seems to realize that if they don't answer Sanada will most likely blurt something out at the last minute, most of the time being completely off in his answer. So he gets some friendly teasing for that.

They go back to mixing in clips from Fujigaya and Shoon's visit to Disneyland with the quiz. When they reach the section that comments that Disneyland employees are not allowed to say "irasshaimase" (which is what employees at stores say to welcome their guests) they test it out. Shoon tries first and fails then gets a reprimand from Fujigaya which is rather cute. They try to get a couple other employees to say it but fail in the end.

They then learn that the custodians even play parts in the theme park to separate them from just being a janitor. They are even given a performance by one of the custodians at the park.

The end clip is a recap of the custodian doing one of his tricks and Shoon and Fujigaya being impressed.

The next episode looks to be about jewels, so it probably won't be nearly as fun as these past two. I'm hoping it'll be better than the episode about roads though.
